Whatever you purchase online, beware the spoof emails!!
Whatever you purchase, from whomever you buy it, be careful what you click on. A friend fell for the spoof Ebay scam yesterday. She had just finished buying some items off Ebay, when a few minutes later, she got an email wanting her to update her account information. This person is fairly intelligent, fairly computer literate, and has been shopping and banking online for years. She said that the email looked just like an official Ebay document!! When she told her husband about it a little later, he got suspicious and looked at the email again. Luckily they were able to cancel the cards in time. These people are getting slicker and slicker, dont let em get you!
