Default Problem with turning on....

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but i could find any forums under "power".

Hmmmm, problem with the old girl. I try to turn the computer on and the following happens:

The fan inside the computer (not the one on the back of the case that feeds air in from outside) "jumps", i.e turns a tiny bit, but the computer will not turn on.

Any ideas guys and gals???

THanks loads

Barnetti

Hi,

Start by taking the power cable out of the back of the PC for a good 5 minutes - then replace and test.

Heh, thought you might have

Try stripping the PC back to it's barest components - Video card, 1 stick of RAM, hard drive and CPU and see if it turns on then.
