Question Auto-Booting Pri Master Failure, Please Help...

Well as soon as I turn on pc, it starts up fine. Until it reaches the xp screen and starts to load up all my programs. As soon as it loads up my speakers program (c-media) everything locks up.

I then have to continue to restart my computer where it then says that it can not find the auto-booting pri master, and then go onwards to say that it can not find any drivers and that i need to insert the boot disk in the floppy drive.

This is really getting on my nerves, please help me, i am utterly confused whether its to do wiv windows system32 or it is this c-media program. :o

Thank you very much.
Me.

Ok, the first thing you should do - is to boot into safe mode and get rid of that c-media program, see if windows will boot without it loading up.

i think it's going to be something to do with that program, or even your sound card drivers getting corrupt somehow.
