Default Screenshot programme

I have been using Fraps as a screenshot programme, but it only saves pictures as BMP and it is 1.4megs big, I know I can go to paint and change it to JPEG but it is troublesome. Does anyone know of a screenshot programme that saves as JPEG, and that can take videos (with a small file size)?

I want to take screenshots and videos of games I'm playing.

No need to look for a different program , just go to options/screenshot tap , and select .JPG.

Yes I figured that, but you have to register to do that - and it's too expensive to register. Sooooo any other programmes?

I already thought my solution sounded a bit to easy.. I didn't know that was in the paid version only.

Have a look at these:

I think they are free, and capable of saving in .jpg.
