Hey Dr. Gallop,

Welcome to PCHF. We have a wonderful team of techs here, and I am sure we can help to answer that quesiton.

Programs generally leave garbage all over the place, especially when you are trying to get rid of them.

Usually it is simply a matter of houscleaning. First of all are you using Norton's Protected Recycle Bin?

Let's just make sure you don't have any malware that 's trying to protect itself, and then I will give you some great tools for keeping this kind of stuff off of your PC.

Please follow the instructions for PreWork in my signature. You will want to make sure to save the ewido log, to post back here with the HijackThis log. We'll make sure your clean, and then move on from there.

looking forward to your reply,

TTFN
