Question how to send files via email?

Hello Peoples,

I have a few large WMV files [video] that I would like to send via email but the files are so large they exceed the limit my email account can handle.
Is there another way to do it?
Is that why some files are sent as "Zip" ?

Not too knowledgeable in this area, come to think of it, any area!

Hi there, welcome to PCHF, we hope you enjoy your stay . You could simply put the wmv into a rar or zip file and compress it, i managed to put a wmv movie into an rar that was 13mb, and it came out as 3mb, that wasn't even the best compression, So if you want to email it, compress it , download winrar from HERE,
* install winrar,
* then right click your wmv movie you wish to email,
* click add to rar archieve,
* you will be brought into winrar, if you look in the bottom left corner you will see a compression tab,
* select best on the drop down box and click ok.
* the rar archieve will be put into the same folder as your wmv file. hope this helps yours dave
