Urgh, how did this topic revive?

The government's job is to protect the lives of its citizens. By allowing abortion it is allowing people to legally kill their unborn child, a human being.

Space,

As usual, your lack of having lived outside of your very narrow world has you talking about things you know absolutely nothing about. You cannot presume to understand the circumstances of others withour having been outside the confines of your safe little world.

This is again one of those real life situations that cannot be discussed in simplistic black and white platitudes. Regardless of your upbringing, your comment is insensitive and juvinile.

You know that I like you bud, but I cannot let you get away with comments like that. Women are not cattle to be bred, they have the same inalienable rights to control their bodies as men do.

So what you are saying is that it should be legal to murder a human being?

well according to Bush it is.. What do you think the "death penalty" is? Granted these people have done something wrong, yet they are still being put to death. Do I like it? No, but I do believe in a " woman's" right to choose very much. As should it be legal to kill someone? Were doing it now all over the world, in the name of a new world order. We did it in ww2 with the Japanese as well. Like I said I respect everyone's view's but sometimes you have to sit back and listen the other side and really listen to take it all in. Not being open to other's opinion's is not a good trait.

@the_machine,

Thank you.

@Space,

This is not the place for this discussion. It will become very ugly. Let it be, you do not want me to go there.
