8-Track tapes.............. Yup, I had about 300 when the format got replaced by the next best thing: cassettes. Some folks (myself included) became Masters @ loosening up an 8-Track when the tape tightened up after a few dozen playings.

Remember the very 1st "high powered" 8-Track/FM car stereo?? Can you say Craig Powerplay?? I was the 1st guy in my unit to get one, and during the next trip home on leave the old neighborhood got blown away. The matching Powerplay 6" x 9" speakers had 80 ounce magnets. That started the whole Magnet War which lasted for years.

The list you pulled from that old thread looked good EXCEPT for Charlie Daniels. I halfway enjoyed him and his band until the cursed "Devil went down to Georgia". That is quite possibly the WORST excuse for music ever recorded. Of course, "Amy" by Pure Prairie League runs a close 2nd. Talk about running 2 songs into the ground with airtime, Jeeeeeezzzzz.

UUUUUUUUUUmmmmmmmm, can't find 8-Tracks or Black Sabbath??

For the 8-Tracks, just go to eBay. For Black Sabbath just go online. Since I swore off sites like KaZaA & Limewire some years ago, I buy and immediately download all of my music from Amazon. Usually one song at a time for either 89 or 99 cents (US) each, and you don't have to worry about that old DRM Bull-Waste. Here's a rather small list of Black Sabbath tunes from my diminutive song library:

Children of the Grave
Crazy Train
Electric Funeral
Fairies Wear Boots
Rat Salad
Sweet Leaf
War Pigs

Man, the stories I could tell..........................

I had a pm from Jelly Bean this morning, and as she comes from Wales it brought up a memory of the song called Little Jimmy Brown.

Here's the Barron Knights version of it called The Chapel Lead Is Missing...
