Default RIAA sues the dead

The RIAA , apparently bored with suing twelve year olds and students for Piracy (and also raiding the US Navy) has apparently come up with a novel idea. The have gone past the other end of the age spectrum.

They have filed suit against an 83 year old women because she was apparently sharing 700 copyrighted files.. Trouble is, she died last month and apparently never used a computer.

You may argue that they didn't know she was dead. They did. Her daughter sent a copy of her death certificate to the record company's lawyers when she recieved an initial warning letter (over a week earlier).

All they need to do now is sue the unborn and then we're away! :x

That would be really funny if it wasn't so pathetically sad

I just wish that the industry would wake up - reduce the cost of their product and work with their consumers more instead of against them.
