The Lounge - How many still have a floppy disk drive? posted in the Community forums; I have one, but I can't remeber the last time I used it. Maybe I should just remove it....

Default How many still have a floppy disk drive?
I have one, but I can't remeber the last time I used it. Maybe I should just remove it.

Default How many still have a floppy disk drive?
Got rid of mine a year ago - nasty things....

I use a USB key now to great effect. If I ever need to boot from disk, I use a great util called "The Ultimate Boot CD".

I still have one so i can load the drivers for my exceedingly fast SATA 10,000rpm hard drives everytime i rebuild....

ooooo they're good!

Put the drivers on a usb pen.

can;t recall when i removed the floppy disks.. i think it was couple of months ago after i switched to usbkey, its more convinient to carry it around and safer since it won;t get fungus and stuffs..
