Linux - uninstalling ubuntu posted in the Operating Systems forums; I would like to know how to uninstall Ubuntu. I installed it, but I don't really use it, so I would like to remove it. Thanks Fay...

I would like to know how to uninstall Ubuntu. I installed it, but I don't really use it, so I would like to remove it.

How do I know which partition and which hard drive? Does it install on the 2nd hard drive? Is it on the same drive as windows xp?

I have the 9.04 disc but I installed an earlier version cos I used my son's installation disc (don't remember what version it was, I think it was 8. something.) Unfortunately, when he left, the disc went with him. Can I use the disc I have?

Oops I thought you meant the Ubuntu CD. I do have a recovery CD for xp. But won't that wipe everything from my hard drive? I don't want to do that. I just want to get my space back on my 2nd hard drive. I was only using the 2nd hard drive for storage.
