I have a xp recovery disc, but I also have an xp installation disc. Would I need a product code for the installation disc? It doesn't say anything about using a recovery disc or needing a product code on that site.

Why would you mention a product code/key?
Use the XP install disk Fay if it's the same one you used to install in the first place.

This will not erase windows, correct? or any of my files? Will these recover my space on second hard drive and delete the partitions it created during install?

A bit depends on how you installed ubuntu as to what boot manger it uses. If as the instructions say delete the partition from within windows using disk manager it may still boot up ok if not then run the fixboot to fix it. You can then format the free space which was ubuntu or use a free partitioning software
to make the windows drive the full drive again |
