Linux - Duel boot problems as well :( posted in the Operating Systems forums; I had kinda the same problem as that other guy, but I don't want to wipe my system. I made 20 Gigs of free space, ucoliolated (or w/e its called) ...

Default Duel boot problems as well :(
I had kinda the same problem as that other guy, but I don't want to wipe my system. I made 20 Gigs of free space, ucoliolated (or w/e its called) to install ubuntu.

I installed ubuntu, and now when i go into Windows, it says it can't do some kinda disk check, and it restarts...

Any help please?

Welcome to PCHF. We have a great group of techs here, and I know we can help you sort this out. It would be extremely helpful for you to post the link to the thread you are referring to. Unfortunately, each of us work on hundreds of threads every week, and it is impossible to keep all of the details in our heads.

That way, the tech can refer to what is being done to help the other poster in determining if that will help you as well. Could you also please post the specs on your PC?

Hello and welcome to PCHelpForum.

Wich windows operating system are you refering to?

Are you able to login into windows or ubuntu or neither.

Could you give me the exact error codes please or near to it.

You may need to repair boot.ini but please do not attempt this untill we know more on this issue.
