Information: PCLinuxOS MiniMe 2008

PCLOS is quite impressive and though I've never used Linux before I managed to get it installed on one box and had 3D Desktop and Cubes spinning within a few hours.

Just wanted to share that PCLinuxOS 2007 is the full Monty but they also have a compact version that will fit onto a flash drive called MiniMe 2008 which is what I plan to use soon on my new build.

It is a good operating system, it was the only Linux os that I could install on a old PC I have still.

I have the full version running on a Duron 1300 cpu, and old PCchips motherboard and 512megs of ram. It's a bit on the slow side but it gets there eventually.

Easy to use interface as well, if any one wants to try it out it is very much a Windows look a like...

LOS is great, I used to use it on some machines which are now headless.
