Default [Answered] Ubuntu problem

i currently have XP running on my pc,but i put a seperate hard drive in to install ubuntu on,i guess when starting the pc it would boot from disk and i could install it but its not booting from the disc?how do i get it to boot from the disc so i can finally make the move to Linux?
any help appreciated,thanx

Go into your BIOS (this is normally shown on the first screen that you see on boot, a key press will be required).

Look for Boot Sequence or Order

Set your CD/DVD drive as the first device then go to Exit and Save Changes and try again.
