Default [Pending] linux for a beginner

HI again PCHF.

right after several attempts to re-install a naff copy of XP, i have decided to put mandrake back on, i have no problems adapting and learning more about it but my (wife) better half has had problems migrating to it in the past, (bill's brain washing attempts have suceeded)

does anyone knowof a good place to find a very basic guide to mandrake that even the most basic computer user can get on with, it doesn't have to explain all ythe nitty gritty details and problem solving bits, just the general usage of the system.

anyone please help as i would really like to keep linux on here this time thanks in advance

Cool link TUX, I think I'll try Mandrake on my next install as a multiboot.

One question though, If I want to do a 98, XP and Mandrake install should i put Mandrake on before or after Windows, and I've heard that Windows partitions will "attack" the linux partitions. Is that true?
