Why cant i run overlord II smoothly on normal setings at 1280x1024 resolution (i have the same problems on other games but ill just mention this one) (my max resolution is 1920x1200). when i go to can i run it systemrequirements lab thing it tells me i can run the game on recomended settings and more.
This are my system specs and the i can run it thing on overlord II...

Welcome to PCHF!
I would imagine that you have already updated your graphics card driver to the latest version but have you tried using older drivers to see if they help with the problem? Go here: download from Guru3D.com

i have 2 Ati mobility radeon hd 3870 i dont think that will work... i downloaded 1 and it saying it cant update anything/or cant find the driver i dont remember. I also ran some driver update programs and they didnt find any outdated drivers.

What particular laptop do you have? Some brands only allow drivers they approve to work. Toshiba is one of the worst offenders, with their drivers often being outdated by over a year.
