Pending: New Laptop, Fan Running for No reason?

Hey guys,

I have a HP Pacillion dv4 Notebook PC. It has an AMD Turion X2 Dual Core Mobile AM-72 2.1 GHz processor and 4 GB of RAM.

This problem just started happening. Whenever i go on youtube, facebook, or any website. My fans turns on. I have around 89 processes running, CPU Usage hovers around 60-68%. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Shouldn't the fan slow back down once I exit youtube, facebook, or Firefox?

You should use Autoruns to shut down a lot of those processes you have running, 89 is far to many for a laptop.

Use the Logon tab to close down unnecessary stuff, only do a couple at a time. If your unsure of what is what, right mouse click on a process and select Search Online.

Most of the first 10 result will advise if it's safe to remove.

I usually use the process library link that is always in the top of the search results...
