Greetings all and thanks in advance for the help.
I have a Toshiba a135 laptop. The original battery died and when I replaced it I began having charging troubles. The laptop shows as being plugged in, will charge the battery fully, then stops charging. The laptop will then deplete the battery and shut off without recharging. I then have to unplug the charger, and replug it in for the laptop to restart, and the same thing happens again.
I did some Google searching that said try upgrading your Bios driver. I went to the Toshiba site, and there was a Bios upgrade available for my laptop. I followed their directions, but have now lost the charging icon on my toolbar, and on the first reboot got taken to "start up repair". The laptop starts each time now, but still the same charging problem, and still no charging icon on the toolbar.
Any ideas????
