however i know i would use it only for USB , and that's a waste. also it's a bit expensive for me and my near-to-death laptop

hi i see from your pics you have a pcmcia card slot , i just looked on ebay and for 6.99 gbp you can get a card that will give you 4 usb 2.0 ports cheap and would get you out of a fix
