hi!

I an new to this forum, but i really hope to find some help here!

i have a canon eos400d camera. everything used to work perfectly fine for many months, until suddenly a few weeks ago it is not possible for my laptop to recognize my camera anymore. i wrote to canon for help, but they wont help me because they say the problem lies with my laptop. i have tried reinstalling the driver and the software that came with the camera, but that doesnt help..

does anyone have any other ideas as to what else i could try?
