"Pixela ImageMixer 3SE, Canon Digital Solution Disk" this is what it comes with. i only need to know if, since this is copyrited program, will i be able to copy this to a USB drive so i can install on the netbook? I know there are all sorts of protection on CDs usually to prevent this.

Ahhh yes I do this with my own software.

It is fine,I copied my office 2007 to USB pen drive to install it on my netbook.

As it is for your own usage I see no issues.

While I know Jelly Bean is quite a knowledgeable person, I would be remiss if I did not caution you. Copywrite and Terms of Use are different in many countries. It is best to carefully read the Terms of Use Statement that comes with your software.

Chance, yes, i am aware of the laws and all the protection that is usual on software. I am only going to copy to a USB drive so i can install on the netbook since it does not have a CD/DVD drive. it is for my personal use only. thank you for your help.

Jelly Bean, someone at camcorder forum posted this right after i decided that i was done and about to order netbook and the rest.
MoFoto for Flash Memory Camcorders
can you please take a look and let me know what you think? i am still buying the netbook, but if this storage is good, then netbook is not as urgent.
