I had a computer 2 weeks ago that its fan was sounding like a polie car siren,lol.I would try testing another power supply,mm unless you dont have spares at home?The 512 RAM could of been a bit dodgey,was it new or out of another computer.You may of had power failure?

i checked power its ok 512mb off my nephew he said it was fine do you think the chips have blown .i did earth myself before i put it in and turn off power

can you get to BIOS?press either del,F1,F2 OR ON BOOTUP KEEP TAPPING F8 FOR SAFE MODE?

are you sure its the fan spinning not your CPU SCREAMING?

The bad RAM may of corrupted your system.Are you sure you took out the bad RAM?

ok i'll try that just took monitor off pc and try it on another pc see if monitor ok .the pc lights up and the drive works and the on off button works. i think i'll hit it with the hammer!thanks again for replying

no its the fan took side off fans gone turbo my son must have put noss in itgoto laugh or i'll cry
