Thanks to all for the welcome. I would have responded sooner but I have been deep in trying to solve my problem. It seems that I get a small problem with some aspect of my computers and when I start to work on it it gets bigger and bigger.
I hsve a fairly good PC, home built, and a Toshiba Tecra A9 laptop. I wirelessly networked them in Oct. 07. All was well until recently when I tried to print from the Laptop.
It started out that the error was Spooler not working. Then RPC was the problem. All the more I fumbled around the worse it got. Now I have lost my wireless network, cannot access the internet (DSL Modem) through the wireless router (Trendnet Tew-631BRP) must access through the modem only.
Things are in such a mess now that I am waiting on Trendnet support to get the router hosed out and reset. Then I will get back on the Laptop not being able to print. May need some help here.
I set this all up in Oct without any problem and all worked just fine. I suspect a reg problem in the laptop. Knowing computers ???@@@#??.
