Hi Everyone, I'm a new member. Dazzaman.
I'll get right down to it, does anybody out there know if I can get the multi-media application Mediator Version 7, and from where? I know that Version 8 is out now, but I have been told that I can download Version 7 for free, legally of course. Is this true?
As a poor student, any free software would be a bonus, as I need to be able to use it at home for my studies.

There are many different free multimedia applications.
The only references I can pull up regarding Mediator V7, are warez, which is illegal sorry. I'm not saying it's not out there - I'm just saying I couldn't find it and I'm not willing to keep looking

However, here are some alternatives for you.

Mplayer - This one I use, it plays everything including real media and MOV, and never needs codecs...it's open source (downside is there's no GUI) - http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/news.html
BSPlayer - I used to use this one, stopped using it for the codecs reason above - http://www.bsplayer.org/
Mplayer2 - Start -> Run -> mplayer2 - this is the original media player that was in windows 95 and 98, it's by far the best thing microsoft have ever done. And it's so small and simple to use...why bother using the "flashy" WMP6 and above when they are just pure poo.

If you're after something other then just a player, look into Mediator 7 again, and maybe someone else here will know where to get it from.
