I'm not entirely sure what the problem is, but when i get on certain websites that having streaming videos directly featured, the videos will not play.
They played before, even as recent as earlier this week, but now when I get on the websites to watch videos, there's an outline of where the video is with a little box in the top left with a
Red Square
Green Circle and a
Blue Triangle--In that order from top to bottom
I don't know why all of a sudden it's doing this, but are there an internet "wiz" out there that could help me fix my problem?
Much obliged

Welcome to the Forum!
I will ask this.. have there been any new updates, new hardware, etc that may have changed your situation? What you have described is a failure of your browser to load certain images. The obvious.. be certain that you have the latest drivers for your system. Make sure you are allowed these privileges, and if so (I imagine you are)allow images in your security settings.. I see you have posted elsewhere... I am asking that you make use of the PC Specs link in my signature below... Any and all that wish to help you will need this information..yes.. it is important.. Thank you for your understanding and patience

Hello Ryan. In addition to what Sir Trews asked, can you please also post a screen shot of your computer screen on a page where you experience the problem. That will help me narrow down my results.

Here is a link to the screenshot of the problem I am experiencing. When you see it, you understand where the videos should be playing.

LOL, not even gonna ask about that page. It looks like you're missing a plug-in or 2. My guess is that it may be adobe flash player although there are other players that the site may use also. I would try installing/reinstalling adobe flash first though and see if that fixes it.
The only other thing that I can think of is that you have a setting set to not download images. Unfortunately it's been so long since I've used IE that I can't for the life of me remember where that setting is. I just remember the setting was meant to speed up web browsing. Ah, found it. Under internet options, go to the advanced tab and scroll down to multimedia and check to make sure you don't have play animations in web pages and show pictures unchecked.
