Hi,
I have had a very frustrating problem for a few weeks now. Basicaly my wireless connection on my laptop will randomly disconnect from my network, even though the signal is good. Even if the computer is not being used and is actually using no network usage at all it will still disconnect !
It used to be ok, I then went to Uni and used a wired connection but upon coming back hoem and using a wireless connection it happens.
This is very annoying, especially if you are downloading something or talkign to friends and I keep getting knocked offline.
Before you say anything, I dont think it is the actual network. I have Xbox Live and that never disconnects, plus there are 2 other computers on the network and they don't disconnect either.
Any idea what to do ?
Thanks in Advance
Ben

Welcome to the Forum Sindrey!!
Sometimes the connections get messed with for various reasons. Would you please click on the Prework link in my signature and run those programs? Just copy/paste the resulting logs right back in here so that they can be diagnosed as to what the problem may be. (MBAM needs to be updates and run full scan, please) If there is nothing there that indicates a bug problem, then I'm sure that our talented Techs will be able to help you in this! Thanks for your patience ![]() |
