Pending: right click not work in IE

Right click not working in IE It works outside the net. Ive lookied at all internet options cant work out what I need to do to get it working again. thanks for your time

Hello Smokintony, Welcome back to the forum!

I have done a bit of research and I see many people with the same problem and not many solutions!

I did see this however:

1> Go to IE tools
2> Go to Internet options
3> Go to Advance settings
4> In the bottom you have button for "reset internet explorer settings"
Just click that after closing all other programs. Restart IE and you are done with your problem

Unfortunately there was no reply so I am unable to tell you if it works or not, you could always try.

I will mark this as open to encourage the more knowledgeable among us to take a look

Thanks but already tried that with no joy it works fine wi
th firefox so I guess ill just use that from now on. Thanks anyway

Hello Smokintony,

2 thoughts -

1) Have you DISABLED the IE Add-ons? Perhaps one of those is causing your issue

2) others on the net with the same issue report the IE once opened begins consuming memory resources and doesn't leave enough for the right click feature. Is this happening to you? You can monitor memory consumption using Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del -> Task Manager) to monitor the memory usage of different processes.

tried running without add ons no joy ive just had my pc upgraded to 4 gb anD CPU usage is minimum

Tony,

I've found this - another user has reported that it RESOLVED their right click issue.

Download and install FreshUI
http://www.freshdevices.com/freshui.html

Run the program and goto Applications>Internet Explorer>IE Menu Settings>
Make sure Enable Context Menu is enabled.
