i recently started a webcomic website. the site is based on wordpress, and basically there are a few posts, each containing a large image (the comic on that page) plus a small image wich is a "thumbnail" for a random comic. now, at first the sharing on facebook worked fine - facebook would let u choose a thumbnail between the large comic image, and the small "random" image on the page u were sharing. which made sense, cause i figured facebook just scanned the page for images.

but with my latest comic post i have this problem - when sharing on facebook, the thumbnail image facebook chooses is an image not even displayed on that page. it just seems to be some random image from the website.

since i get a lot of traffic from facebook sharing, this is a somewhat of a problem for me. if anyone can help somehow, i would appreciate it.

Have you changed anything recently on your site that you can think of? Are the older posts still displaying correctly on FB?

i have not changed anything at all on my site. it is very new, the first posts (which work) were uploaded three days befor the fifth post (which doesn't work), and no changes were made during that time. i didn't even access the wordpress control pannel until i uploaded the new post (and i didn't make any changes other than uploading a new post). the old four posts still work fine, the facebook share option chooses the correct thumbnails for them.
