Default Disconnects Randomly

Please help... My connection to the internet disconnects randomly since last week!! Browsing or downloading also the same.. Sometimes my connection can't even last for 5 minutes...

When it's disconnected, the small network icon on the taskbar will not disappear.. right-clicking and select disconnect also won't make it disappear(it's already disconnected)!!! Even the status can't show up when i press it.. It just disappear after appearing for miliseconds... Need restarts and reconnect!!!

I've run some scan with Malwarebytes' and Bitdefender and it shows that my PC is very clean.. I've tried changing the modem but it's still the same.... HEEEELLLLLLLPPPPP......

Is it something wrong with my network card? I've asked my friends that uses the same ISP and nothings wrong... and i can still access the status window of my network card through Device Manager when it disconnected!!

PLEASE HELP...

Hello and welcome to PCHelpforum.

Firstly in device manager try an update of your network adaptor driver.

Rather than reboot the computer have you tried turning off modem for two minutes and reboot it?

Are you using a wireless router? If yes try a press of the rest button.

Open IE and click toll,s/internet option/delete temp file,s,cookies, history.

Click tool,s/manage addons/try disabling some addon,s or disable them all they can always be re-enabled if they are needed. Most addon,s are not required they are just annoying.

I have marked your thread as "Open" in readyness for the great Tech Team and wonderfully helpfull members to give you support on this.

JB.

Please advise make and model of your DSL modem.

From what you've written this connects to a network card.

If it connects to a network card you have a modem-router.

I find this helps quite a bit. In device manager uninstall your network driver then scan for hardware changes and let windows reinstall it.

the cable is actually connected to a NVIDIA nforce Network Controller.. It's integrated in my mobo!! I'm using Aztech and Riger make DSL modem.. It all started last week.. Before that i'm using Riger modem which is included in my broadband package.. Then after encountering this problem for a few days, i tried to switch modem to Aztech 1 but it's still the same..... I'll try delete and reinstall the driver and see..

thx for the reply...
