I'm going CRAZY! For some reason none of my messengers will log in - both Yahoo & Microsoft. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling Yahoo, that didn't seem to help neither. It gives me an error to try again later and Microsoft's messenger tells me it's the wrong login. However, I can login to both on meebo - online web IM for AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk messengers. Also, I can login to MySpace and not Facebook nor can I bring up Hotmail.com. What's up?! I need my hotmail, it's my main source of business. It comes up with a page saying "Network Timeout













The server at login.live.com is taking too long to respond.

This is for both Hotmail & Facebook [after I click login for Facebook] but everything else works. Not to mention, Facebook is working for my friends and on my mobile phone.

I assume by the context of that error message that youre running firefox. Have you cleared your private data lately?

If not could you please do that and retest.

If that doesn't work it is probably something in your router settings. But I am betting it's a cookies or cache issue

Yes, I have - even just now but usually try to every few days. AIM chats wont login either and it wont work on IE neither.

What you can try:

It appears you are connected to the Internet, but you might want to try to reconnect to the Internet.

Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

OH!! & There's this weird little curser thing, like when you type the | blinking symbol in random places on my myspace pages and some other random sites at times.

I pulled a system restore and that seemed to work. Just backed it up to about 3 days ago. Thanks though : )
