Question Password Problems

Hi again
I don't know if this has a solution, but here it goes: Suddenly my pc is asking me to renew my password, but I never set a password for it, so I used my login details from my main email and then it says that it is unable to renew the password in this account because there are not currently logon servers available. I waited but it keeps saying the same, to contact the system administrator.

What do you mean asking you to renew your password? Do you mean when your first switch on your computer or is this on your email?

When you get the login screen where you put in your username, If you click options - underneath where you type your type your password you see log onto. You need to change this to local computer. You will then need to type in your username that you use to use to access your computer. If you didn't have a password before this started happening then leave it blank.

It is already set to local computer and I can't change that anyway cause I can't type, it is dimmed, and I am trying to use my password from my email, the one I have from my internet provider and then it says error 1311, can't change password because there are no logon servers currently available...boohoo, if I use any other password, or word, then it says incorrect password, but this way then I get the error 1311...

Have you tried just entering you user name (not your email) and no password.

Otherwise try entering Administrator for the account name with blank password.
