Virginmedia customers in the South Wales area and Manchester have experienced problems with there Virginmedia broadband.
This includes:
Slow web pages.
Unable to open certain webpages.
MSN messenger problems.
Hot mail website issues.
Slow unable to use google.
And a few more issues.
Virginmedia refuse to acknowledge there is an issue.
The worst thing was I had no access to PC Help Forum.com,how dare Virginmedia.
I rang Virginmedia half an hour ago,no joy and no admittance.
However here is a temp fix for anyone with the same problems.
Ok, try this, in Internet Explorer:
Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
Enter the following proxy server:
webcache.virginmedia.com
Set the port to 8080
Click ok then click ok again.
