Default Windows vista, Internet Explorer and Java
I have a new laptop with vista. The last 2 days I get a message that there is a java update to install. As soon as the notification appears my IE freezes and then I get a black screen, everything freezes and I have to close down my laptop. How can i resolve this?

Default Re: Windows vista, Internet Explorer and Java
First try to update Java directly from Java. Make sure don't have internet explorer in case your pc freezes while your doing this.

To do this click Start > Control Panel > Java. Select the Update tab > Click Update Now. Follow the prompts to update java. Please post back if you still have problems.
