Default copy and pasting of urls

why is it when providing a link to a web forum that some come out as green instead of blue so clicking on it doesnt work sometimes, also finding the url for some things seems virtualy impossible.
is there a standard way for doing this that works on everything?

Could you provide an example of one coming out green? I can't think of this issue or picture it.
