hi everyone, i have a massive headache. i recently got a router and set it up, my internet connection is fine but some websites mainly ones i have to sign in tosuch as my ebay account, email and internet banking will not work. ive done a system restore to original settings when i got the laptop but that hasnt changed anything, but if i use my old wired modem again it works fine!! does anyone know what i can do please

Have you checked on your router that your MTU settings are correct for your ISP ?

If not:

You can do it manually on a lot of routers, but if not, there is a utility called DR.TCP which will allow you to change it.

What router do you have and what Max speed is your connection?
