Hi to all the pros out there,

For these few days i have problem trying to enter certain websites with both Firefox and IE. These includes sites like yahoo.com & google.com. Luckily i am still able to enter here and ask for help.

I did a restart and a scan using CCleaner and fix all issues. But i still cant enter certain sites and this is causing a big headache for me. I dunno if i am infected with any viruses.

Have you recently changed your Internet Service Provider or have you installed a new router / modem at all?

Did you try doing a System Restore ?

I havent been doing any new stuff on my pc. Modem, router and service provider is the same for almost 2 years. I nv had this kind of issues in the past.

Ok, how about your browsers?
Have you started using any new browsers lately or have you been using your current browser(s) since before the problem started?
Did you install any software just before the problem started a few days ago?

Nothing new. Except a UEFA euro 2008 game.

Ok try this first;

Start / Settings / Control Panel / Internet Settings / Advanced / Reset... (bottom of the Advanced window)

Reboot

Try Google again.

Do you have a firewall installed?
If so, let's rule it our as a cause;

Try disabling it and then try the problem sites again.

So that I can help you further and possibly rule out a few things such as malware / spyware, could you please goto this link and carry out the 'Pre-Work' described there.
Then post back the logs in here as attachments.
