my friend has two laptops set up on wireless his works fine but his daughters shows wireless connection but wont load ie or firefox any ideas??
apparently she had her friends give it a once over cos it was slow and that
when the probs started cos they installer a netgear usb wireless adapter for some reason and then they couldn't even get a connection but i
uninstalled that as thought they was conflicting with each other tried deleting cookies files and history but still no joy!!

Did you run the wirless setup wizard on both laptops and share the connection on main one?As in share this connection with other computers on my network?

Update network adaptors in device manager.

The work groups have to BE the exact same name,in default XP is MSHOME.
