HI!

Hopefully someone can help me. I have a wireless laptop and my 12 year old son uses a pc. We have a wireless netgear router, although my son uses a cable to connect to the internet. In the last hour or so, we have been unable to load any sites on his pc, although the internet is connected. I can load everything with no problems on my laptop. msn troubleshooting on his pc says that the gateway is offline. Firstly i have no idea how to fix that and secondly, how is that possible, if my internet is fine and we're both on same connection? Can anyone help?

Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Please check cables are all connected correctly and secure on back of PC and router.

Please click on repair the connection under internet connections.

Go to device manager,right click on my computer and scroll to properties and open.
Under properties click on hardware tab then open device manager.
Scroll to network adaptors and open.

Right click on the adaptor and click update driver.

Open a web page then click on tools,scroll to internat options and in there delete temp files/history and cookies.

You can also click start then run and type in the box %temp% you can delete temp files that way also.

Did all those steps and pc works fine now. ty very much for the quick help!!!!!
