Internet on a AST laptop with Windows 1995, internet? I Dought It, but can it be done? thats up to you guys to say if its possible. Ok, heres what I got: AST Laptop, Windows 1995, Cnet (CNF401) 100/10 Mbps Fats Ethernet Carbus Adapter (With Eth. Cable Outlet) Eathernet Cable, and a Router/Modem. Is it Possible??? Hi, it is possible to run Broadband on Win95 and if that card will work with it (not all do) then you should be able to. I must warn you though that Windows 95 isn't a secure OS by today's standards so be careful what you do on it.

Yes, but I don't know what will work with W95, can you please post the system specs of this laptop? (Processor Type & Speed, Memory Amount, and HD Size)
If possible you might consider upgrading your OS, with this I can tell you what the most recent windows OS you can run is

Processor - Intel Inside : Pentium I (R)
Memory Left - 200 MB
HD Memory Capacity Size - 774 MB

Hmmm, okay, so you can't run too much with an HD that small, if you upgrade the HD you can run XP if your processor speed is more than 233mhz.

You can barely run Windows 2000, which has the minimum specs of 133mhz, 32mb ram, and 700mb HD.

Also, when I said "Memory" I meant what is the amount of RAM you have installed, to get that you go to the Control Panel and click on "system". It should say it there
