This is dialup?And usb connection?They are normaly very slow connection with these types.
Ok try this:Go to
Start - All Programs - BT Voyager ADSL Modem - Configure.
driver update

Click on
Diagnostics.
You will then be asked to login, please enter your Broadband username and password. This is for diagnostics purposes and is not a connection to the Internet.

This screen should very quickly flash up then close again.
Your default web browser, usually Internet Explorer will display the following screen although some of the information will be different.
The above results give you an idea of where your connection is having problems. The areas being Interface, System, Line and Network.
- The Interface test checks for problems with the connection between the Voyager Modem and the PC
- The System test checks for problems with the Voyager Modem itself.
- The Line test checks for problems with the Broadband line
- Lastly the Network test checks for problems with the Internet connection
