Smile Answered]Help Please!!!

Ok on my new pc, which runs Vista, I cant seem to connect my broadband useing my NTL disc, well its run by virgin now, but the disc is NTL as ive had it for a few years, I know it still works, as i used it to re-install the internet on this, (my old pc) when it came back from the shop the other week. Ive followed the steps as any other time ive installed, but keep coming across these problems, note i did get the internet on for a couple of days, but im not sure how, and now that connection has totally died.

Problem 1:

USB Modem is Not Present

The next step in the installation process is to install the USB to Ethernet Adaper. Please do the following:

1. LEAVE the CD in CDROM drive.
2. Click 'Shutdown' below to shutdown the computer
3. Plug in the adapter to an operable USB port on your computer.
4. Connect all other babling.
5. Restart the computer.

after doing that, this then shows up.

Problem 2:

Driver for Network Card not installed

No NIC has been installed on this system. Please make sure that a NIC has been physically installed in your computer. After you physically install your NIC the Plug and Play wizard will detect it and handle the installation.

Error Code:25
