This is your network adaptor Intel® 82562C-2 10/100 Network Connection

This is connected to your computer for eithernet

Driver download under network Drivers & Downloads

You update the driver by right click and choose update driver in device manager you do not just stick disk in.

Now you say computer crashing?

ok, so i went on the new pc, put the drivers disc in and tried to update it, it said:

The best driver software for your device is already installed.

Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date.

Intel 82562V-2 10/100 Network Connection.

so what now..? do i uninstall and power down, reinstall on reboot etc..? wanted to check before i did anything.

or do i figure out a way to get the driver you linked onto the new pc..?
