also, there is a pop up that comes up when you load to desktop on the new pc, which says, i just connected it all back up as it may of been of use, as it only showed up recently, well only had pc for since thursday, and i think this only appeared since i got the didgy internet connection:

also, how do i tell if it is the Vista you mention..? and how do i put on disc, to get to the new pc, bit of a novice, and dont want to get anything wrong, thanks.

also, i did get driver discs with the pc, if that helps, save the messing about with the downloading drivers etc

Ok download the files to a internet connected pc.but SAVE them to a file,do not install.then put the updates to disk CD/DVD then place that disk into dell machine needs drivers.Manualy install from device manager bur first copy the files to desktop.

Ok use the disk you have if it contains all the drivers pop it in and go to device manger and install from there?

any idea of the one i will need to download from the disc..? or will the pc know its self and auto run it..?
