Thumbs up [Resolved]help please

I downloaded a programme yesterday that my Norton security flagged as having a virus, so i deleted it, but since then when i open IE the webpage is over to the right hand side and the left hand side is just a plain white band from top to bottom. It not the screen settings etc, ive checked it all...ive defragged, anti spyware adwared it and nothing found.
any help please, coz its driving me mad

Howdy debby and welcome to PCHF..

Is there anyway you can take a screenshot of it so I can see it better.. Hardf to imagine what yer saying lol..

Just open IE and click PRTSCN..
Then open PAINT
Click EDIT then paste
then upload here as an attacment..(oh save as a jpeg) see my example below..

try this.. Kepp your finger on the CTRL button and use your mouse (the wheel) and see if you cannot get it to get bigger..
