Default General Question: Listening/Watching Streaming Audio/Video

Just a small question that just bugged me after getting my monthly internet bill.

Does Streaming Audio or Watching videos (Ex.: Youtube), or listening to internet radios, Acutally count as Downloading and Uploading?

Because My ISP service is set to 100gb Up+Dw limit. and I just wanted to know if [the things listed above] count as Downloading/Uploading...Because I have to pay $1.50 for every GB thats over the 100gb limit.

And I listen and watch A LOT! Usually I watch videos max about 8-9hrs per week and I listen to internet radios for about 6-8hrs per DAY.

So if doing these things actually count and Dw/Up I am pretty much screwed for my next internet bill.

YouTube videos are flash-based-- not much data there- nor is internet radio.
If you were downloading High-Res video files-- like whole movies in Hi-Def, etc-- you might touch that limit.

Put this (freeware) bandwidth meter on there-- you can monitor your own usage:
Download NET Traffic Meter 2.1.2567 - Monitor the traffic on a selected network or modem interface - Softpedia

no..I never mention Actually download; Saving it to the HDD.
I meant purely streaming....like watching vids on YT or listening to streaming music...not actual Downloads. That for sure counts as Downloading, I was just not sure if internet radios and watching vids on Youtube counted.

EDIT: Nice App...Its going to take a while to use it but i can see that its useful.

I knew what you meant-- but it makes no dif to an ISP-- if you save it -- or just view it-- traffic is traffic. You could check with them-- I'm sure they would tell you the rules.

Hey, ih8bills or anyone.
Do you know how to work with the Traffic Meter? I can't seem to get it to do what I wont.
Is there a setting or a completely different app that monitors and records every type of traffic (Dw and Up)? Because this would be nice because I just found out that my ISP counts any type of traffic. So i need an App that shows me the total Internet Usage..in MB or Bytes. or KB.....
thanks in advance.
