Default IE7 has encountered an error

Hello everyone. I have a system that I am having some difficulty with. It is Windows XP SP2 and IE7.

When I browse the internet (especially when I go to Wedding Dresses, Bridesmaid Gowns and Accessories from David's Bridal), I recieve the following error message...
Internet Explorer has encountere a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
When I click for detailed information I get...
Error Signature
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 7.0.6000.16574 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.3119 Offset: 00018943

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks.

Problems with Web sites that use Add-ons (Active X controls)
Problems with Web sites that won't work with IE7

Also, Norton software is not yet supported with IE7. Script errors are being experienced by users

Thanks for the information. Although I had already tried all of the suggestions here. The only thing I hadn't tried is to check the Browsing history and view items to see if there were any problems. The Java Runtime environment was marked with an exclamation point. So I did uninstall Java and reinstall again. We'll see what happens. I know this not a problem with IE7 on certain websites because My personal computer runs fine on the same websites and it too has IE7.

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. I will update you after the reinstall of Java.

Thanks,
Jivers

OK... I am still not getting any resolve to this darn thing. I have updated all Java Controls, Media Players, and even removed IE7 and returned to IE6 because someone suggested there may be a corrupt file in the IE7 update. Still no luck. Any other ideas?

Thank you. No I haven't tried that. However, wouldn't we be masking the problem then? I still need to find resolution to the IE problem.

Thanks.
