Default [Resolved] Sound issues. please help.

I 'm having problems with my sound, and I'm not sure what is up. When I try to play sounds on internet explorer it doesn't play, but when I play something on windows media player it works just fine. I have a feeling it might be a problem with the flash player, because when I use youtube or play a flash game I don't get any sound.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Hey vandel,

Welcome to PCHF.

Do you get any sounds in Internet Explorer such as clicks when you navigate to a new page?

It does sound like the problem is within IE if all your other sounds are playing fine. If you're still getting other sounds within IE we might be able to narrow it down to the flash player. Or something else

Actually I was able to get it working, It's really my dad's computer and I thought he had the newest audio driver but it turns out he didn't. So when I installed that it started working. Thanks for the help.
