Smile Problems with staying connected

Hi there

i have a new router installed and can succesfully connect to internet (great)

But after a few hours of inactivity the page doesn't load so I'm forced to restart my computer. After that it works fine until it's left inactive for a while.

i've tried configuring internet explorer, reinstalling the router and applying the setting "allow this computer to switch this device off to save power" in the properties.

iwhat to do

Any help is most appreciated

thanks

Is this router part of your phone or cable package? What i'm trying to find out is if you still have support for this router from the manufacture? My home router was doing this and it ended up being a faulty router and they replaced it. I'm not saying this is what it is in your case but if you have support on that router you may want to take advantage of that. Let us know how it goes.
