-Can you give me any and all - exact messages that you recieve?

The same messages you get when you don't have an internet connection and you try to use a web browser. The "Server not found" is the message fire fox gives, IE gives "The page cannot be displayed, The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings." etc


-If your connected wirelessly, then I don't see how your network cable has anything to do with your internet connection?

It shouldn't do I suppose, but when I try to do anything with that Local Area Connection i get a BSOD. The two probably aren't connected =/

Hi Rich,

Those are without a doubt driver issues. What model motherboard do you have there (I suspect ASUS, but not sure what model), or make and model PC? Also, what ISP are you with, and what is the make and model of your router?

Even though your connected wirelessly instead of locally, it may be a good idea to get your ethernet connection working, and see if this connection makes any difference.

My motherboard is MSI - K8N Neo Platinum (MSI Part No: MS-7030), I'm with Virgin media on a Belkin Wireless G Router (Part # F5D7230-4).

Could you please donwload the latest drivers for your network from here: MSI -- MICRO-STAR INT'L CO., LTD. (this should resolve you Local Area Connection x problem).
